Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the technical package design of a range of Essity produced products and for all packaging and inner packaging related information is up-to-date, accurate and consistent
  • Lead review, modify and create of package designs (i.e. SmartFit) for a defined range of products that optimize loading of transportation container (trailers, rail cars, ocean containers, etc.) and warehouse utilization
  • Ensure that the design packaging is processable and quality of finished goods
  • Continuously improves the speed, efficiency and accuracy of packaging development and specification processes
  • Provide technical packaging information and maintain knowledge of new and innovative packaging equipment, packaging design and materials
  • Also maintain knowledge of external package design, equipment and materials suppliers
  • Performs root cause shipping and warehouse damage analysis
  • This position is responsible for the management of all Marketing Initiatives, these involves approving the initiatives feasibility, designing and developing product packaging to ensure product integrity for manufacturing, storage and shipping, following up and tracking that the initiative meets the expected launch date
