With a wide-ranging portfolio across seven categories including medical products, we own and sell over 80 brands in about 90 countries. Our portfolio includes such brands as E45, Pevaryl, Lamisil, Nutravita, Decubal and many others. Our core belief in empowering people to make intelligent health decisions drives our growth strategy, blending organic expansion and M&A. Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Packaging Development Manager for our office in Stockholm. A hands-on role with real impact. Join a fast-growing international company where packaging plays a vital role in innovation, sustainability, and brand experience. You'll collaborate across markets, contribute to product launches, and shape packaging strategies that reach millions. If you thrive in fast-moving environments and want to grow your career globally—this is your opportunity.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive the technical execution of packaging tasks across our portfolio, ensuring alignment with Karo's packaging strategy
  • Provide cross-functional technical support that delivers measurable value
  • Own and create finished goods and component specifications, securing functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal
  • Lead packaging input within New Product Development (NPD) teams, including briefs for costing and innovation insight
  • Conduct packaging tests, functionality assessments, and dimensional analyses
  • Develop and approve defect classifications, standards, and visual range boards
  • Align testing protocols with contract manufacturers (CMOs) and packaging suppliers
  • Maintain packaging specs in our systems, including technical drawings and BOMs
  • Ensure packaging quality throughout the full distribution chain, including last-mile delivery
  • Act as key user for our packaging specification platforms, supporting systems implementation and improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Packaging Development or Procurement, ideally within FMCG, consumer health, or adjacent fast-paced industries
  • University degree in a scientific or engineering field
  • Proven ability to interpret and assess risks from technical data
  • Strong communicator—able to adapt complex technical details to different stakeholders
  • Demonstrated alignment with Karo's core values and collaborative culture

What we offer

  • Opportunity to create, grow, and encourage
  • Apart from a competitive salary pack, there are lots of growth opportunities to meet your personal ambitions
  • Flexible schedule, hybrid model with the primary work place in the office, and life-work balance
  • Responsibility for exciting and challenging projects that have a direct, visible impact on our customers and the industry
  • Very positive work environment in a dynamic, international, and motivated team
  • Start-up spirit while being a part of the large international organization with strong values
