Our client seeking a detail-oriented, high-capacity Packaging Copywriter to join our Product Development team. This is a critical new role designed to bridge the gap between creative design and technical accuracy. You will serve as the 'fresh eyes' for thousands of packaging files, transforming raw buyer requests into evocative, legal-compliant copy while ensuring 100% accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Job Responsibility:
Quality Control & Proofing: Review and approve copy for a massive volume of packaging files (e.g., 1,000+ per cycle), relieving designers of proofreading duties and eliminating errors
Creative Translation: Take high-level, abstract concepts from Buyers (e.g., 'make the lights feel twinkly') and craft them into polished, brand-appropriate on-box copy
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all claims, warnings, and descriptions meet retail standards
Project Management: Maintain a rigorous organizational system to track file versions, deadlines, and approvals across multiple product categories
Brand Voice Stewardship: Ensure a consistent tone across various TJX brands, moving away from AI-generated placeholders to human-centric, engaging narratives
Requirements:
Proven experience managing a high volume of work (100+ files/projects per week) without a drop in quality
Ability to thrive in ambiguity. You can take a vague idea and turn it into a concrete deliverable with minimal hand-holding
An almost 'obsessive' eye for typos, formatting inconsistencies, and regulatory requirements
Strong communication skills to manage projects effectively during both onsite and remote days
4-7 years of copywriting experience, specifically within CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), Retail, or Advertising
