Job Description:

Campbell Snacks is currently seeking students for 6-month co-op positions within the R&D Package Development Department at the corporate office located in Camden, NJ. Campbell Snacks’ Co-op Program provides students with an opportunity to contribute to activities within Snacks and Fresh & Frozen Bakery. Students may work on brands including Goldfish, Milano, Snyder’s of Hanover, Late July, Cape Cod and Farmhouse encompassing a wide variety of packaging formats.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with the development of package components to support Base, Innovation and Quality initiatives
  • Participate in and lead Packaging trials at manufacturing facilities as needed
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional team members and external suppliers
  • Present results to the R&D organization upon completion of the 6-month term

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be full-time undergraduate students, enrolled in Packaging Engineering or related program and will be returning to school after the completion of the co-op term
  • Candidates must have completed at least one semester of core classes and/or fulfilled School requirements for Co-op eligibility
  • Candidates must be in good academic standing with their college or university
  • 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
  • Candidates must demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing project and business needs
  • Candidates must be able to work well independently within a team environment and manage multiple projects
  • Physical ability to handle weight of approximately twenty-five pounds
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or assistance from the company
