Job Responsibility:

  • Own your product categories, manage the full purchasing process from order placement to delivery-including international freight coordination
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Negotiate competitive pricing and terms while ensuring quality and reliability
  • Monitor product performance, identify market trends, and source innovative packaging solutions to support growth
  • Liaise with internal departments to align purchasing plans with business objectives and launch schedules
  • Track commodity prices and market movements to drive savings and protect margins
  • Support and direct administrative team members, ensuring purchasing operations run smoothly

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in a buying/purchasing role-packaging industry experience is essential
  • Strong data analysis and numeracy skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently
