3+ years of Buying/Purchasing experience (preferably within packaging)
Strong maths and data analysis abilities with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build supplier relationships
A proactive problem solver who can manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively while also taking initiative independently

Job Responsibility

Product & Supplier Management: Take ownership of product categories, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders from placement to delivery - including international freight bookings
Market Trends & Analysis: Use sales reports and performance indicators to identify new trends and opportunities for product development
Sourcing & Negotiation: Build and strengthen relationships with suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, and ensure our supply chain remains efficient
Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams to ensure products launch on time and deliveries meet our client's needs
Cost Savings & Profitability: Monitor commodity trends and use insights to drive cost savings and improved profits
Team Support: Provide direction and guidance to administrative team members to ensure smooth operations
