We are looking for an eager, detail-oriented individual to join our team as the final link in our manufacturing chain! If you are looking for a role where your attention to detail ensures our products reach customers safely and perfectly labeled, this is the position for you. You will manage the end-of-line process, operating specialized labeling and packaging machinery while maintaining strict food safety documentation. You get hands-on experience with PLC controls and industrial printing technology in a clean, organized food manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone with a methodical mindset, comfort with technology, and the physical ability to handle pallets and packaging materials in a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility:
Careful and safe handling of packaging materials
Check lot codes, and dates on materials
Ensure the correct rotation of materials on a first in first out basis
Setup of work station with all documentation, items and utensils required
Follow the daily production schedule to meet production output, communicating effectively with the Shift Leader, SP Room Operator and Warehouse
Set up the case erector, fit tape magazines, and load boxes. Prepare your workstation with all necessary documentation and utensils.
Set up Domino label printers, change ribbons/settings as required, and operate PLC control panels for conveyors and boxing machines.
Take and record product temperatures, validate batch numbers/timings to ensure Critical Control Points (CCP) are met, and use NAV software to print pallet identification labels.
Stack pallets in correct formations, strap for stability, and use a shrink wrapper and walkie truck to move completed pallets to the warehouse.
Follow HACCP and GMP guidelines for product changeovers and "deep cleans." Safely handle cleaning chemicals and use all required PPE.
Communicate effectively with Shift Leaders and the warehouse team, providing a full handover at the end of your shift.
Requirements:

Fast-Paced Capability: Ability to remain organized and efficient in a high-output manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift materials throughout the shift.
Communication: Strong English skills (written and verbal) for effective shift handovers and coordination with the Warehouse and Shift Leaders.
Experience: Previous food manufacturing or packaging experience is an asset, but we are willing to train candidates with a methodical work ethic.
