Job Description

Robert Half has a client seeking a Package Designer with strong Photo Retouching experience who is commutable to Philadelphia Monday-Friday through the end of April.

Job Responsibility

  • Supports both Packaging and Photo teams across packaging design + digital retouching with a heavy emphasis on editing/enhancing product photography for catalogs, web, packaging, and advertising
  • Retouching, color correction, clipping paths, cropping/sizing to spec, object add/remove, and organizing/renaming product images
  • Designs generic and licensed packaging, creates labels for physical products, ensures correct legal info/country of origin/UPCs/warnings/translations
  • Contributes concepts for packaging refreshes and launches

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year art college or university or relevant working experience is preferred
  • 4 years of related experience and/or training required
  • 5 or more years preferred
  • Catalog design and print production experience preferred
  • Must be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must be able to calculate correct sizes and color percentages
  • Knowledge of 4/color process and spot color printing on offset and flexographic presses
