Our client a professional association organization is seeking a PAC & Advocacy Coordinator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the day-to-day operations, communications, and initiatives of a Political Action Committee within a professional association
  • Implement fundraising strategies and support contributor stewardship to drive ongoing growth
  • Coordinate and execute events, including major conferences, advocacy summits, and fundraising activities
  • Maintain records, databases, and website content, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to increase visibility and engagement
  • Support grassroots advocacy initiatives by engaging members and expanding participation nationwide
  • Serve as a liaison to internal groups and external partners, supporting relationship management and outreach efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of PAC compliance rules, legislative, and regulatory processes
  • Experience with fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting presentations and materials
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with database systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
