Job Description:

Cheadle Hulme School is seeking to appoint a highly organised and professional PA to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Deputy Head and the Pastoral Leadership Team. This is a full-year role offered on a fixed-term basis for one year. This is a key role within the School, supporting the smooth running of a wide range of pastoral systems that underpin student wellbeing, safeguarding and the wider life of the School.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Deputy Head and the Pastoral Leadership Team
  • Support the smooth running of a wide range of pastoral systems that underpin student wellbeing, safeguarding and the wider life of the School
  • Ensure the pastoral team is well supported and that key processes and records are maintained to the highest standard
  • Provide proactive and confidential administrative support, including diary management, organising meetings, taking minutes, drafting correspondence and managing the pastoral leadership team diaries
  • Support a number of important pastoral systems and processes, including the administration of recognition and conduct, detentions and assemblies
  • Maintain records relating to pastoral and safeguarding matters
  • Liaise with Heads of School, Heads of Year, Student Managers and the Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Support pastoral staff induction
  • Assist with the coordination of safeguarding training
  • Liaise with staff, students, parents and external agencies
