For our international client (a global leader in digital transformation and consulting), we are looking for a visionary leader for the position of P2P (Payables) Business Transformation Director. In this strategic role, you will drive large-scale finance and technology transformation projects, taking full accountability for designing and implementing modern target operating models (GBS/SSC). By collaborating directly with senior client executives, you will leverage advanced ERP, automation, and Payables solutions to unlock real business value and shape the future of global organizations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned consulting professional (15+ years of experience) who combines deep end-to-end finance expertise with strong executive presence and a passion for driving innovative change.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive and lead process and technology transformation projects within Finance, supporting Transformation Managers in the successful development and delivery of the project deliverables
  • Sell & deliver projects that may be related to target operating model design, process design, process, and technology maturity assessment, benchmarking, GBS / SSC setup, automation potential assessment, ERP/Platform solutions implementation, RPA implementation, transition, RPA implementation, training delivery, change management and similar
  • Utilize your process and technology expertise to provide improvement recommendations to steer clients in their transformation journey
  • Interact with the corresponding Client senior stakeholders and collaborate with the Client to complete the assigned deliverables & drive transformation agenda
  • Keep abreast of technology technological developments, their strengths and weaknesses, and suggest technology-related improvements within the given area of expertise
  • Build knowledge and understanding of our market-leading assets and methods (e.g., Digital Global Enterprise Model (DGEM), S4 transformation, ESOAR transformation method, RPA Technologies, etc.)

Requirements

  • Proven ability to shape a compelling transformation story and sell transformation projects leveraging available offers and products
  • Deep experience and awareness of RFI/RFP processes, exceptional negotiation skills, strong executive presence, and a proven track record of managing senior stakeholders
  • At least 15 years of finance transformation experience, with expert knowledge of end-to-end Payables processes (Invoice to Pay) and GBS/SSC operating models
  • Full end-to-end accountability for driving large-scale transformation projects from design through implementation, including budget and timeline management
  • A strong continuous improvement and innovation mindset, with a focus on delivering tangible business outcomes and client value beyond just FTE reduction
  • Expertise in conducting process and technology maturity assessments, facilitating strategic client workshops, and articulating clear business cases for change
  • Hands-on experience with S4H environments and a proven track record of executing or steering S4H, SAP ECC, or Oracle implementation programs
  • Very good understanding of specialized Payables technologies (such as Basware, Kofax, Comarch) and upstream procurement platforms like Ariba or Coupa
  • Proficiency in process mapping using tools like Visio, Business Optix, Signavio, or Aris, with a solid awareness of BPMN notation
  • Fluent spoken and written English
