Job Description:

At Sqills, we believe that great software starts with great people. That’s why we are looking to strengthen our People & Organisation (P&O) team with an enthusiastic P&O Business Partner who loves working with people, enjoys variety and wants to grow further in an international and fast-moving environment. You will join a small and dedicated P&O team, where you will work closely with your two P&O colleagues. Together we support Managers, Teamcoaches and employees across our offices in The Netherlands, France and Turkey. You are approachable, practical and curious; someone who enjoys being close to the business and making things better step by step. This role is a great fit if you enjoy being both hands-on and advisory and if you want to grow into a broader P&O Business Partner role over time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Managers and Teamcoaches with day-to-day P&O topics such as employee development, performance, absenteeism and team dynamics
  • Coach Managers and Teamcoaches in having good conversations about feedback, growth and collaboration
  • Contribute to core P&O processes such as onboarding, off boarding, talent management and performance cycles
  • Work together with colleagues to ensure P&O administration is handled correctly and timely in our HRIS (AFAS) and payroll processes (think: contracts, promotions, changes, maternity leave, etc.)
  • Support absenteeism management and collaborating with occupational health services when needed (ArboNed)
  • Spot patterns and opportunities (e.g. recurring team challenges) and helping translate these into practical improvements
  • Participate in P&O projects such as improving our performance management approach, developing leadership programs and making our policies more engaging and accessible

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree (HBO level), preferably in HRM or a related field
  • Around 3–5 years of experience in a broad HR role (HR generalist / HR officer / HR advisor)
  • Comfortable supporting Managers, Teamcoaches and employees on topics such as performance, development and employee relations
  • A proactive and practical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of what teams need
  • Interest in P&O themes such as coaching, talent management and organisational development
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English (French is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law
  • You enjoy working in an international environment and collaborating with colleagues across borders
  • Available for at least 32 hours per week and comfortable working hybrid
  • Only Dutch citizens, EU citizens, or individuals holding a TWV work permit for the Netherlands are eligible to apply
