Job Description:

MLC is seeking a part-time P–12 Admissions Consultant (0.6 FTE) with flexibility in how the days are structured across the week to join our Community Engagement team and play a key role in supporting prospective families through the enrolment journey. Admissions is the first human point of contact for many families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide warm, responsive and professional customer service to prospective families
  • Respond to enquiries and manage applications with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidently communicate the MLC educational experience and enrolment processes
  • Support campus tours, open mornings and enrolment events
  • Maintain accurate records across CRM and student management systems
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College to ensure a connected and positive family experience

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role where professionalism, accuracy and relationship management were important
  • A genuine commitment to high-quality customer service
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence in managing multiple processes
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using CRM and student management systems
  • Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when working with families
  • A good understanding of the independent school environment, gained through professional or personal experience (for example, as a school parent or through previous school-based roles)
  • Familiarity with independent school culture and enrolment cycles is important
