Job Description:

At Dominos, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and service across Birmingham and the West Midlands. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and in excellent condition. We are passionate about growth and quality, and we are looking for enthusiastic delivery riders to join our expanding family. We are seeking reliable Own Moped Delivery Riders to support our Delivery operations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, have excellent time Customer Services skills, and a friendly approach to customer service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver food orders promptly and safely to customers across Dominos Birmingham Central Store using your own moped
  • Ensure all deliveries are handled with care to maintain food quality and presentation
  • Follow all road safety regulations and company policies while on duty
  • Maintain your moped in good working condition and ensure it is roadworthy at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service, representing Dominos Pizza T/A AKM Pizza positively at all times
  • Handle cash and electronic payments securely and accurately when required
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth delivery operations
  • Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to management

Requirements:

  • Must own a valid moped and hold a current driving licence suitable for moped use
  • Previous delivery or customer service experience within the catering and hospitality sector is desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic numeracy skills to handle payments and orders
  • Ability to carry out physical tasks such as lifting food containers and navigating stairs
