Overnight Shift Engineer

• Carry out overnight engineering duties with a primary focus on painting, decorating, and finishing work
• Execute high‑quality painting tasks, including touch‑ups, full room refreshes, exterior paintwork, wallpapering, and decorative finishes
• Perform general engineering duties such as minor repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and responding to overnight guest or staff requests
• Respond to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) issues as they arise, carrying out initial troubleshooting and addressing urgent concerns safely and efficiently
• Ensure all paintwork and finishes meet Four Seasons luxury standards at all times
• Maintain detailed records of completed work and report any larger maintenance needs to the Engineering leadership team
• Work closely with other departments to ensure rooms and public areas remain in exceptional condition
• Uphold all health, safety, and compliance requirements throughout the hotel
• Support the smooth handover between day and night Engineering teams
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay aligned with departmental standards

• Strong painting and decorating skills with a keen eye for detail
• Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role, ideally within hospitality or a luxury property
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality finishes and standards
• Ability to work independently and proactively during quiet overnight hours
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think quickly when addressing guest or property needs
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands
• Knowledge of basic engineering, maintenance, or trades is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A positive attitude and passion for maintaining a beautiful environment
