Requirements

21 years of age or older
Previous armed security experience required
Military or law enforcement background strongly encouraged
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
CPR certified (or willing to complete provided training)
Reliable personal transportation (public transit/rideshare not permitted for firearm transport)
Able to train and become certified to use an approved firearm
Able to safely use, maintain, operate, and manipulate a firearm, handcuffs, and other issued gear
Able to wear a duty belt and exterior tactical vest (position-specific) for the duration of assigned shifts

Job Responsibility

Monitor property activity, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents as required
Maintain firearms proficiency and follow all safety/legal standards
Apply de-escalation techniques and sound judgement in challenging situations
Write clear, accurate incident and activity reports
Communicate effectively with clients, the public, and supervisors
Use technology efficiently (smartphones, reporting tools, scheduling software)
Represent PST with professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Requirements

A minimum education level of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
4 years of related work and supervisory/managerial experience
An understanding of the rules of law, as they pertain to the operation of a private Security Department
Must possess and retain a current BSIS California Guard Card
Ability to work rotating morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Responsibility

Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are following Security Department and company policies and procedures as outlined by the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security
Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are performing their daily duties as outlined by the Security Manager and the Director of Guest Services & Security
Ensure 24/7 Security Officers are being held accountable for any policy and procedure violations or for not meeting performance expectations
Administer disciplinary action to 24/7 Security Officers when necessary
Create or review detailed reports of all incidents/accidents that occur on company property
Conduct weekly audits of Security Department documentation
Ensure all documents are neatly and accurately filed for future reference
Create monthly 24/7 Security Officer shift schedules
Conduct a weekly inventory of all Security Department supplies
Conduct daily inspections of all Security Department equipment

Requirements

At least 1+ years of security experience, preferably within Hotels
High School education or equivalent experience
Ability to apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients
Ability to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
ability to work overnight shifts required
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests

Job Responsibility

Monitors, responds and trains for emergency/security systems and incidents
Is the safety and policy leader for the overnight shift
Assists residents, guests, and employees with operational tasks
Responds as a 1st responder trained in CPR
Answers phones and directs calls
Handles all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail
Manages and provides access to the building(s) and units with all vendor/contractor/homeowners’ service providers and visitors
Controls entry doors and elevator/lift access
Ensures that collateral and information for vendors, restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current
