Job Description:

Overnight Safety and Security Officer position at JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa responsible for property patrol, security system monitoring, emergency response, incident reporting, and maintaining safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol property areas
monitor security systems
conduct hazard inspections
respond to emergencies
complete incident reports
handle safety situations
conduct investigations

Requirements:

Patrol all areas of the property
assist guests with room access
monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
conduct daily physical hazard inspections
respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
assist guests/employees during emergency situations
notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
defuse guest/employee disturbances
complete incident reports
handle interruptions and complaints
resolve safety hazard situations
escort unwelcome persons from property
report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
maintain confidentiality
conduct investigations and gather evidence
conduct interviews
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
grasp, turn, manipulate objects
move through narrow spaces
move over uneven surfaces
reach overhead and below knees
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
