Job Description:

The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks an Overnight Residences Security Officer to join our talented team! Job Responsibility:

  • Monitors, responds and trains for emergency/security systems and incidents
  • Is the safety and policy leader for the overnight shift
  • Assists residents, guests, and employees with operational tasks
  • Responds as a 1st responder trained in CPR
  • Answers phones and directs calls
  • Handles all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail
  • Manages and provides access to the building(s) and units with all vendor/contractor/homeowners’ service providers and visitors
  • Controls entry doors and elevator/lift access
  • Ensures that collateral and information for vendors, restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current
  • Updates homeowner profiles with any relevant information
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements
  • Monitors the fire alarm panel
  • Coordinates the booking of the elevators/lifts for move-in or move-out
  • Assists Resident Service Attendants with responsibilities and duties in their absence or due to heavy volume periods
  • Works closely with hotel/resort to ensure smooth handling of resident’s deliveries, reservations and special requests
  • Ensures that the Residential Lobby is in optimal condition of cleanliness and tidiness at all times

Requirements:

  • At least 1+ years of security experience, preferably within Hotels
  • High School education or equivalent experience
  • Ability to apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with peers, superiors and clients
  • Ability to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
  • Must be flexible with schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
  • ability to work overnight shifts required
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
