Job Description:

Perform highly complex repairs of the physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment with little or no supervision; troubleshoot and maintain MEP systems; provide guest service according to company standards; maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; physical tasks such as lifting objects, moving up and down stairs, and using computers

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
visually inspect tools and equipment
carry equipment
identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment
maintain maintenance inventory
requisition parts and supplies
communicate activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs
troubleshoot and perform repairs on various types of equipment and systems
train and mentor other engineers
perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities
ensure safe use of tools and compliance with standards and codes

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
vocational or technical background
extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
valid driver’s license
