Job Description:

Perform maintenance tasks for a premium hotel including guest repair requests, preventive measures on equipment, troubleshooting of MEP systems, and general repair duties such as painting and plumbing.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
carry equipment
maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
communicate maintenance issues between shifts
perform troubleshooting and repair tasks
program TVs
surface preparation and painting
minor drywall and wood trim repair
use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
train and mentor other engineers
perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities
ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional
report safety hazards and maintenance problems
welcome and assist guests according to company standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
at least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
valid Driver’s License

Nice to have:

Experience in general maintenance
exterior and interior surface preparation
painting
