Overnight cook 3 are usually responsible for prepping ingredients and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and specifications. Kitchens can be hot, noisy and stressful places, so you'll need to be able to work efficiently and quickly to be successful as a line cook.
Job Responsibility:
Run the day-to-day operation of the station in the kitchen
Assist in creating and preparing menus items and specials
Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the station
Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation
Maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed
Store items properly at the end of the shift
Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area
Handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor
Requirements:
One to two years’ previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet
previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
Strong communication skills
