Job Description:

The Managed Account Solutions (MAS) team is seeking an Overlay Portfolio Implementation Analyst. The MAS team within the Investment Management Unit is responsible for the development, support, and distribution of investment products and services used to support SEI’s multi-manager managed account program. MAS is distributed through the Independent Advisor Solutions, and Institutional market units.

Job Responsibility:

  • On a daily basis identify client accounts for rebalancing and trade generation from manager model changes, drift, tracking error
  • Implement new account opening/closing, invest/raise cash requests and asset allocation changes
  • Facilitate tax management of accounts including harvesting gains/losses
  • policing wash sales, limiting de minimis trades and monitoring gains budgets
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure they are continually aligned with their investment mandate and tracking error expectations
  • Ensure trade recommendations are consistent across accounts based on established guidelines, security restrictions and social screens
  • Generate and export trades across accounts for execution
  • Perform tax transition analyses and report generation for client proposals
  • Participate in overlay management oversight meetings
  • Work with the middle office teams to implement client specific instructions for accounts
  • Act as a liaison between the Managed Account Solutions team and other departments within the Firm (client support, back office operations, sales etc.)
  • Contributing to cross-functional projects focused on improving efficiency, scalability, and client experience
  • Working on special projects as assigned by the team Manager, including research, process redesign, and technology-driven initiatives

Requirements:

  • Four year undergraduate degree ideally in business/finance or related subjects
  • Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience
  • Good communication and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / team player
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, with experience using multiple Excel functions and macros
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be in Oaks office three days per week

  • Support business and independent risk analysis to provide portfolio insights, define requirements, navigating technical model and risk rating policy and process related terms and documentation
  • Partner with and support the Model Sponsors, Model Developers, Model Users in 1st and 2nd line of business and Governance Forum activities concerning Wholesale Risk Ratings models and methodologies
