Job Responsibility:
Manage UK overland shipments end-to-end, focusing on containers and LTL movements, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to final warehouse destinations
Coordinate with clients, UK carriers, hauliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless cargo movement
Plan and oversee last-mile delivery once containers or consolidated freight arrive in the UK, ensuring smooth warehouse delivery
Maintain up-to-date and accurate data on the digital platform to keep clients informed about their shipments
Monitor shipment progress, proactively addressing delays, port congestion, or delivery disruptions to ensure customer satisfaction
Produce and review all necessary overland transport documentation, including delivery orders, CMRs, PODs, manifests, and container release documentation
Coordinate container deliveries, de-stuffing, and LTL distribution to multiple warehouse locations where required
Provide clear and timely communication with clients, offering updates, solutions to challenges, and responding to inquiries
Ensure compliance with UK transport regulations, delivery restrictions, and company policies
Identify opportunities to optimise UK delivery routes, improve utilisation, and enhance last-mile efficiency
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, improve service quality, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
Provide insights and feedback on client delivery operations to help improve UK distribution strategies
Requirements:
