Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Distribution Linesperson to join Service Stream based from our Wetherill Park operations. Servicestream’s Power division is currently seeking applications from trade qualified Distribution Lineworkers in joining our team in Wetherill Park ( Sydney ). Working within the NSW Power business you will be reporting into the Works Manager covering maintenance and construction works on the Ausgrid network.

Job Responsibility:

Constructing and maintaining Ausgrid’s distribution electricity network
Maintaining the integrity of the network in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner
Ensuring an uninterrupted supply to customers across the network
Installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines carrying electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial users
Timber and steel pole replacements
Defect rectification
Crossarm changes
Emergency response
Service wire replacement
LED streetlighting programs

Requirements:

Trade qualified Distribution Lineworker
Certificate III in Distribution (Powerline) or equivalent
Previous experience working as a Lineworker
Relevant training and HV licences
Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work
Construction White / Blue Card
Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices
Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs
Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship

Nice to have:

Forklift licence
Chainsaw Ticket
Dogging ticket/s
