We are looking for an OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) Specialist for an exciting and challenging position in the Manufacturing and Logistics sector in Moncton, New Brunswick. The OS&D Specialist will play a crucial role in minimizing losses related to incidents involving excess, missing, or damaged cargo. Job Responsibility:

  • Investigate and resolve OS&D issues by identifying the cause of incidents and implementing corrective actions
  • Review shipping documents, inspect freight and contact relevant parties to gather information
  • Meticulously track and record all OS&D incidents, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference and claims processing
  • Communicate with customers to inform them of the status of their shipments and guide them in filing claims
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive measures to minimize future occurrences of OS&D
  • Adhere to established freight flow and OS&D procedures to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards
