Job Description:

As an Outsourcing Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exemplary client service by preparing management accounts and VAT returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will manage approximately 20-30 small to medium-sized clients, including sole traders, partnerships, charities, and limited companies, on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Additionally, you will review the work of junior team members and assist in raising draft invoices for director/partner approval. This role offers a blend of client interaction and technical accounting work, providing a great opportunity to develop your skills and career.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare management accounts and VAT returns for a portfolio of clients
Ensure exemplary client service is delivered at all times
Review input from junior team members and raise draft invoices for approval
Proactively manage client relationships and address their needs
Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Requirements:

Level 4 AAT qualified and/or already studying towards your ACCA qualification (part-qualified)
Experience in preparing VAT returns and management accounts in a practice environment
Proficient in using accounts production packages (e.g., Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, QuickBooks) and Excel
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage client relationships
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
