Job Description

Bemana is seeking a Outside Sales Tool Specialist in the Across the state of Missouri to join a premier, family-founded manufacturer and distributor that has been the backbone of the utility infrastructure industry. The Tool Specialist will be responsible for sales growth and business development through electrical utilities, contractors, electrical cooperatives, and distribution.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive sales and business development across electrical utilities, private contractors, and electric cooperatives throughout Missouri
  • Conduct hands-on product demos at customer sites, showcasing the safety and efficiency of stringing, rigging, and grounding equipment
  • Maintain high-visibility with key accounts, understanding their specific project drivers and spending cycles
  • Monitor and report on regional trends and competitor strategies to the leadership team
  • Overcome technical objections by acting as a subject matter expert rather than just a vendor
  • Efficiently schedule travel and site visits to maximize face-time with new and existing accounts

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of successful outside sales experience
  • background in the Utility, Industrial, or Construction industries is highly preferred
  • Exceptional oral and written skills with the ability to present technical information to both field crews and management
  • Proven ability to manage a remote territory and prioritize high-value activities independently
  • Proficient in PC skills (spreadsheets, word processing) and experience working within a CRM to track sales pipelines
  • Ability to travel 3 nights per week with a valid driver’s license
  • Must be capable of handling demo equipment and navigating industrial/outdoor worksites
