Job Description

Polycor Natural Stone is a leading North American quarrier and fabricator of natural stone, and we are looking for a Territory Manager to join our Limestone and Marble sales team. A high level of customer service, a hunter mentality, and willingness to travel within the territory (60%) is a must. You’ll manage and grow an established territory across NY, NJ, DE, MD, DC, working directly with stone fabricators, distributors, hardscape and masonry dealers, and influencing the design community. This role requires residency within the assigned territory, with NJ being the most strategic location for full coverage. Polycor Natural Stone quarries Indiana limestone, marble and granite, offering products as quarry blocks, slabs, and fabricated stone such as treads, veneers, sills, caps, coping, and paving. This position is available due to the planned retirement of a long-tenured sales representative, creating a unique opportunity to inherit an established territory and customer relationships.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage existing customers, driving organic growth through excellent customer service, product training, and joint sales efforts to contractors and architects (30% of your time)
  • Prospecting to stone fabricators, distributors, and natural stone dealers through phone, email, in person meetings, and social media interaction (60% of your time)
  • Prospecting to the design community to gain project specifications through product knowledge and CEU presentations (10% of your time)
  • Work with the Sales Director to develop your territory strategy and goals, report weekly sales activities through our CRM, and communicate forecasting and in-depth analysis of the territory to the leadership team to support informed business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years B2B sales
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Proficient using CRM (Salesforce) and MS Office
  • 60% travel within territory.

Nice to have

  • Building materials or natural stone experience
  • Familiarity with PowerBI.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary
  • 401(k) and Roth 401(k) with company match
  • Comprehensive Health/Dental/Vision insurance
  • Life/Disability/AD&D Insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paid Time off (Vacation/Holidays)
  • Flexible work schedule
