Our client, a leading Canadian provider of instrumentation and industrial test equipment solutions, is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive growth across Western Canada. This role can be based in Edmonton & area or Fort McMurray and combines new business development, account management, and consultative selling—helping clients optimize operations with tailored technical solutions (calibration, test equipment, repair, and rental). Job Responsibility:
Generate new business through proactive outreach (20–30%)
Travel to client sites for meetings, demos, and relationship-building
Manage and grow existing accounts (20–30%)
Identify operational gaps and deliver tailored instrumentation solutions
Achieve sales targets and maintain CRM activity
Collaborate with internal technical teams
Requirements:
3+ years of outside sales experience (industrial, instrumentation, or B2B technical sales preferred)
Proven track record of meeting targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
CRM experience and technical aptitude
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
Nice to have:
Experience selling into O&G, utilities, or manufacturing
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
What we offer:
Base salary $70,000- $90,000 + uncapped commission (top performers $200K+)
