Job Description

Our client, a leading Canadian provider of instrumentation and industrial test equipment solutions, is looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive growth across Western Canada. This role can be based in Edmonton & area or Fort McMurray and combines new business development, account management, and consultative selling—helping clients optimize operations with tailored technical solutions (calibration, test equipment, repair, and rental). Travel (approximately 50%) is required. If you're ready to join a company that invests in its people, this is your opportunity.

Job Responsibility

  • Generate new business through proactive outreach (20–30%)
  • Travel to client sites for meetings, demos, and relationship-building
  • Manage and grow existing accounts (20–30%)
  • Identify operational gaps and deliver tailored instrumentation solutions
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain CRM activity
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (industrial, instrumentation, or B2B technical sales preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • CRM experience and technical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into O&G, utilities, or manufacturing
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
