Job Description

A premier global manufacturer of sustainable architectural building solutions and daylighting systems is looking for a dynamic, territory-driven Outside Sales Representative to manage and expand its British Columbia market footprint. Operating within the building materials channel for nearly 50 years across Canada, our organization focuses on sustainable engineering and community impact. This role balances dedicated account management with an aggressive focus on new business acquisition, serving as the face of the brand to contractors, dealers, and builders across the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across the roofing, general contracting, residential building, and commercial developer channels
  • Act as a consultative partner to specialized retail distributors and dealer channels to drive volume growth and product preference
  • Deliver high-impact educational seminars, technical product presentations, and hands-on installation orientation sessions to trade professionals
  • Maintain precise documentation of territory development pipelines, daily field visits, and touchpoints using corporate CRM software
  • Conduct site assessments, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and confidently navigate site environments, including climbing ladders and handling product samples up to 50 lbs

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of B2B field sales or outside territory management experience
  • Applications from high-potential, consultative retail sales professionals eager to transition to industrial sales are also welcomed
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • High self-management capability
  • Strong telephone execution
  • Structured organizational abilities
  • Multilingual proficiency, specifically fluent verbal communication in Cantonese and/or Mandarin, is considered a major asset
  • Must possess a valid, clean driver's license and a history of safe vehicle operation
  • Proficiency with MS Office suites and modern CRM systems is mandatory
