Job Responsibility:
Developing and maintaining direct contact with existing and new customers within the Lloydminster/Bonnyville/Lac La Biche corridor
Identifying new accounts and qualifying customers based on volume and service requirements
Providing expert advice on carbon steel pipe, fittings, and valve solutions for fabrication shops and major industrial end-users
Gathering data on upcoming projects, competitor activity, and market trends to share with the regional team
Building lasting relationships through site visits, office meetings, and customer entertainment (lunches, golf tournaments, sporting events)
Working closely with Inside Sales, the Regional Sales Manager, and Branch Managers to ensure seamless order fulfillment
Requirements:
Proven experience in the distribution of carbon steel products (pipe, valves, fittings)
Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, or Pulp & Paper is essential
2–3 years of sales experience with a solid grasp of opportunity qualification, account development, and territory management
Residing in (or willing to relocate to) Lloydminster or Bonnyville
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and shared digital folders
Ability to drive several hours per day
A valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
