Our client, a leading distributor, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the New England territory. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience selling interior building products such as flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC supplies. You’ll work closely with contractors, developers, renovators, and remodelers on quick-turnaround projects that demand precision and speed.
Job Responsibility:
Generate new business and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and renovation professionals
Sell a wide range of interior building products and supplies for multi-family renovation projects
Provide consultative sales solutions tailored to fast-paced project timelines
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings
Requirements:
2+ years of proven success in outside sales in construction or building products
Strong knowledge of interior building materials (flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, HVAC)
Comfortable calling on contractors, developers, and remodelers
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel within the New England territory
