This position requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins.
Job Responsibility:
Guide trucks into unloading positions
Operate forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area
Monitor evenflow levels
Flume raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program
Complete CL's, CIL's, and FSIL's for your respective work area
Enter in defects found in your respective work area
Unload trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment
Accurately complete forms as required
Accurately collect and label raw product samples
Complete daily sanitation duties
Maintain a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes
Inspect raw product for foreign material
Monitor waste pit water level, waste room hopper levels, and water usage in Receiving
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral
Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility
Ability to perform basic math functions, required
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures
Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment
Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties
Ability to operate work related equipment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
