Job Description:

This position requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins.

Job Responsibility:

  • Guide trucks into unloading positions
  • Operate forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area
  • Monitor evenflow levels
  • Flume raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program
  • Complete CL's, CIL's, and FSIL's for your respective work area
  • Enter in defects found in your respective work area
  • Unload trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment
  • Accurately complete forms as required
  • Accurately collect and label raw product samples
  • Complete daily sanitation duties
  • Maintain a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes
  • Inspect raw product for foreign material
  • Monitor waste pit water level, waste room hopper levels, and water usage in Receiving
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required
  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing
  • Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral
  • Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
  • Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures
  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment
  • Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties
  • Ability to operate work related equipment
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Valid Driver's License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
  • Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
