Job Responsibility:

  • Represent Wayfinder’s products and services by developing a strong understanding of our K–12 solutions and conducting market research to align offerings with the needs of school districts
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying new potential partners across districts nationwide
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline by engaging prospects through each stage of the sales journey, from initial outreach to next steps and handoff to sales executives
  • Utilize sales tools and outreach strategies including Salesforce, Outreach.io, cold emailing and calling, and objection handling to create high-quality sales opportunities
  • Articulate Wayfinder’s value propositions clearly and persuasively in written and verbal communication to overcome objections and secure meetings with district decision-makers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
  • 1–2 years in sales or business development with a track record of exceeding lead generation targets
  • Experience with cold calling, follow-up, and objection handling
  • energized by persistent outreach and securing meetings with hard-to-reach stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build trust and engage effectively with high-level school district administrators through a warm, curious, and professional presence
  • Strong, polished written and verbal communication skills across phone, Slack, and email
  • Resourceful, analytical thinker who enjoys finding creative solutions and navigating complex challenges
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
