Job Description:

The town of Lunenburg is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Outreach Coordinator to join the Lunenburg Council on Aging. This position performs social service work in maintaining contact with the town’s aging population and their caregivers to assess their needs, provide a wide variety of information, and make referrals as necessary. Provides non-clinical assessment, information, referral, and advocacy services. Serves as the primary outreach and case coordination resource for seniors and their families. Responds to crises and coordinates with local agencies and departments in accordance with established policies and protocols.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology or social work
  • At least three to five years of experience with the senior population
  • Valid Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle license
  • Must have access to and use of a personal vehicle for town business

  • CPR, AED, First Aid, and ServSafe certifications
