Job Responsibility

Provide clinical leadership and operational support across the outpatient department
Support the smooth day-to-day running of clinics, ensuring appropriate staffing and clinic preparation
Maintain a visible clinical presence within the department, supporting consultants and patients directly
Assist with hands-on patient care and outpatient procedures where required
Ensure departmental standards, policies, and procedures are consistently maintained
Support staff management responsibilities including inductions, training, appraisals, and one-to-ones
Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Support the development and implementation of outpatient processes and service improvements
Ensure compliance with clinical governance, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines
Assist with workforce planning and staff development within the department
