In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Sr. Physical Therapists responsible for providing specialty physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients as evidenced by a high degree of expertise in a given area or areas. Provides training and/or supervision to staff physical therapists. May supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as in-service coordinator, outpatient cardiac rehab program, NICU follow-up program and/or day to day operations of a particular area of the department. May have specialty certification in physical therapy field such as NDT, orthopedics, wound care, etc.
Job Responsibility:
Providing specialty physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients
Provides training and/or supervision to staff physical therapists
May supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as in-service coordinator, outpatient cardiac rehab program, NICU follow-up program and/or day to day operations of a particular area of the department
Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience
evidence of extensive training in a given specialty area
Specialty areas may include but not be limited to: neuro rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics, cardiac rehabilitation, hand rehabilitation, pain management and work hardening
