Job Description

Locum Outpatient Pharmacist – NHS Hospital Opportunity. Are you a Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Newcastle? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! Join the outpatient pharmacy team and play a key role in delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

Job Responsibility

  • Dispense and clinically check outpatient prescriptions
  • Provide medicines advice and counselling to patients
  • Support the safe and effective supply of medications
  • Work closely with pharmacy technicians and wider healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with NHS procedures

Requirements

  • Current GPhC registration
  • Previous pharmacist experience (hospital experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
