Outdoor Education-Activity Leader and Support Worker

Quantock Outdoor Education is an alternative education provision delivering high quality learning and outdoor experiences for children and young people with additional learning needs and/or emotional and behavioural difficulties. Our skilled team devise and deliver bespoke learning programmes designed specifically to support the needs of our vulnerable young people and work closely with schools across the Southwest to deliver an all-inclusive education provision. We place our young people at the centre of what we do and aim to make the National Curriculum accessible to all. We are looking for a dynamic youth support worker specialising in outdoor learning to join our growing team. You will have experience of working with children and young people. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, that can positively engage and motivate young people, irrespective of their level of needs. This role is during term time only to support schools between the hours of 08:30am - 16:30pm, Monday - Friday, however, this can change dependent on the needs of the business and whether school holiday programmes are coordinated.
