Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the instruction of environmental education and conference groups, including teaching, belaying (will train), boating, etc. for school and community groups
Assisting with curriculum development and planning, and acting as host for school/conference groups (no direct overnight supervision responsibilities)
Provide community outreach and programs through YMCA Milwaukee programs, as well as engagement with campers through year-round school programs
Must exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in all aspects of work with the YMCA
Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
CPR, First Aid (required)
Possess a basic knowledge of the outdoors
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree or previous camp experience/knowledge preferred
Lifeguard certification preferred (will train)
