Velvetech is looking for a proactive and results-driven Outbound Lead Generation Specialist to join our team and take ownership of generating new business opportunities in the US market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential prospects that match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). You will work within a structured Account-Based Marketing (ABM) approach — executing targeted, multi-touch outreach campaigns across carefully selected accounts. You will operate across multiple channels — cold calling, highly personalized email outreach, and LinkedIn — with a clear focus on generating qualified meetings and contributing directly to pipeline growth. This is a role with a high level of autonomy, where we expect strong ownership, initiative, and the ability to continuously refine outreach strategies based on market feedback. You will work closely with our Outbound Marketing Strategist and Sales team to ensure consistent pipeline generation and smooth lead handoff.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and prioritize target accounts and decision-makers aligned with Velvetech’s ICP
Research prospects and leverage buying signals (hiring activity, tech stack changes, company news) to improve outreach timing and relevance
Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) with a strong focus on personalization
Run structured ABM sequences across defined account lists
Initiate conversations with decision-makers and uncover potential business needs
Qualify leads and convert them into booked meetings for the Sales team
Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline visibility in CRM (HubSpot / Creatio)
Use tools such as Apollo, SmartLead, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive efficiency
Continuously test and improve messaging, sequences, and targeting approaches
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams, sharing insights on campaign performance and market feedback
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in outbound sales, SDR, lead generation, or business development in B2B (preferably in software or IT services)
Proven track record of generating leads and booking meetings through outbound efforts
Hands-on experience with cold outreach across multiple channels (calls, email, LinkedIn)
Strong research and personalization skills
Excellent written and spoken English (ability to communicate with US-based clients)
Solid understanding of the US market and business communication standards
Experience using tools such as Apollo, CRM systems, Sales Navigator, and outreach platforms
Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear targets
High level of ownership, proactivity, and ability to work independently
Ability to quickly understand and articulate complex technical solutions
Nice to have:
Experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients
Background in IT outsourcing, custom software development, or SaaS
Experience targeting industries such as Healthcare, Logistics, FinTech, or eCommerce
Active use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve outreach and research
