Job Description

The Outbound Transport Assistant Manager is responsible for the Total Last mile delivery of MT/DT Accounts. He/ She will drive operational efficiencies, develop improvement to meet the business ambitions and support increasing customer service levels.

Job Responsibility

  • In charge of day-to-day operations of the MT or DT Accounts Dispatch to Last mile delivery
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Operations and Customer Experience to understand the END to END process and align the service requirements per account
  • Build and develop partnerships with key logistics partners and internal stakeholders to support operational excellence and drive improvement of cost to serve
  • Responsible and Monitor 3rd Party Haulers and Cross Dock Facility Providers. Conduct performance review through KPIs and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and service level agreements
  • Analyze and conduct capacity review such as Load fill, CPT, Truck Supportability, Dispatch Process and Trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and Risk mitigation
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Required of at least 2 years Transportation Experience or Supply Chain (Planning, Customer Service, and/or Logistics) Related Functions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Digital & Technology Savvy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Project Management Skills
