Join Our Team as a Out of School Club Practitioner! Part-Time 27.5 Hours per week - split shifts of 1hour 45 mins in the morning at breakfast club, then 3 hours 45mins in the afternoon at after school club. This role is all year round, working in our Holiday Club during non term time. Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Bishopthorpe, we’re looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together! No qualifications required for this role - Previous experience working in a childcare setting would be beneficial. Please note: we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Job Responsibility

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a childcare setting would be beneficial
  • No qualifications are required for this role
