Job Description:

The Operational Technology Projects team delivers project‑based work across the Wessex Water region, providing solutions for all elements of operational technology. This is a hands‑on role where you'll join a dedicated and experienced team of Engineers and Technicians, working with Operational Technology across water treatment, water recovery and pumping station facilities. You'll bring a free‑thinking, can‑do attitude and a flexible approach to engineering challenges, working closely with wider project delivery teams and operations. We recognise that this is a complex and challenging role, so ongoing development and training opportunities across all areas will be available for the right individuals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver OT project work

Requirements:

  • Practical hands-on and technical ability
  • Passion for engineering
  • Desire for self-development and learning
  • Experience with Industrial Control Systems and OT
  • Ability to interrogate, develop and modify industrial control systems and/or software
  • Experience with PLCs, instrumentation, communications, IP networking, motor/pump control, SCADA and telemetry systems
  • Electrically competent with a level 3 qualification (desirable)
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Ability to manage your own projects and workload
  • Team player
  • Technical engineering qualification (desirable)
