Job Description:

This position supports the daily operation and setup of meeting and event spaces by managing audio-visual equipment, coordinating room configurations, and ensuring optimal guest experiences. You'll work as part of a collaborative team to maintain smooth event operations while providing technical support for both in-person and virtual meetings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Organizing daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment for meetings and events
  • Configuring meeting and training rooms by arranging tables, chairs, and furniture according to specific event designs
  • Delivering additional meeting equipment such as easels, flip charts, tables, and chairs to various locations
  • Operating different types of audio-visual equipment for both live and virtual events
  • Meeting with guests on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment setup is functioning properly
  • Attending venue meetings for event planning and coordination purposes
  • Setting up, tearing down, and occasionally loading and unloading equipment for events
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment to keep it presentable and in good working condition
  • Participating in physical inventory count processes and ensuring proper security, storage, and transportation of equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience with audio-visual equipment operation and setup
  • Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment safely
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as required
  • Physical ability to perform setup, teardown, and equipment transportation tasks
