We are seeking an OSS/NMS Systems Administrator to support and maintain critical operational support systems that enable service availability and an excellent customer experience. The individual will ensure smooth operation of OSS platforms, deliver proactive and reactive maintenance, and contribute to service continuity through monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration activities. The role also involves designing and maintaining in‑house monitoring tools and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Administer Fault and Performance Management platforms, Probing platforms, Backup solutions and other OSS-critical applications
Troubleshoot system issues, manage faults, and implement temporary and permanent corrective measures
Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely resolution of technical incidents
Perform daily monitoring and health checks across OSS systems, ensuring automated incident detection is optimised
Participate in project activities, providing technical input and validating configuration and process improvements
Design, implement, configure, and maintain in-house monitoring tools according to stakeholder needs and defined SLAs
Ensure systems are protected from vulnerabilities, security risks, and hardware/software integrity concerns
Maintain compliance with local regulatory and security requirements
Requirements:
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem‑solving abilities
Comfortable working under time constraints and managing complex technical tasks
Skilled in building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners
Confident working across cross‑functional and multicultural environments
Experienced in reporting and analysis
Degree holder in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a closely related field
Minimum two years of relevant experience in telecommunications or IT, ideally within NMS or Probing administration
Adequate experience with Linux OS administration
Knowledgeable in Probing platforms and major Fault and Performance Management tools
Skilled in shell scripting and programming fundamentals
Strong understanding of networking principles, including SNMP and IP configuration
Knowledgeable in voice signalling protocols
