Job Description:

We are seeking an OSS Engineer with strong Java knowledge to develop and automate test cases, assess application usability and performance, and collaborate with developers to enhance quality throughout the development lifecycle. This role is based in Pune and requires experience in both manual and automated testing, along with familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD integration.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create comprehensive test documentation, including Test Plans, Risk Assessments, and Test Results
  • Analyse requirements to design and execute test cases for user stories using tools such as Jira and SQL Developer
  • Drive innovation through adoption of new tools, methods, and standards
  • Conduct application testing with end-users to ensure solutions meet business needs

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Java for test automation and open to manual testing alongside automation initiatives
  • Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Shell
  • Experienced in Agile/SCRUM environments and associated tooling
  • Knowledgeable in deploying and performance testing Java applications (WAR, EAR, JAR) on WebLogic
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in multicultural, distributed teams
  • Holds an engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to have:

Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an advantage
