Our client, a leading telecommunications organisation, is undergoing a significant transformation of its network rollout and operational support tooling. They are seeking an experienced Lead OSS/BSS Network Automation Architect to join a high-profile transformation programme on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of a specialist tooling automation squad, working alongside senior stakeholders and consulting partners to shape the future of their tooling strategy. The initial contract is for three months (with likely extension), offered on an inside IR35 basis at up to £1,000 per day, with an immediate start.
Job Responsibility
Lead a tooling automation squad delivering strategic outcomes across network deployment and operational support systems
Hands-on architecture leadership working directly with enterprise teams and consulting partners to define future-state tooling landscapes
Requirements
Extensive telecommunications industry experience with strong knowledge of OSS/BSS platforms and network rollout or deployment tooling
Enterprise or Solution Architecture background with proven expertise in automation and workflow transformation
Demonstrated experience capturing business requirements, conducting stakeholder workshops, and translating these into strategic initiatives
Track record leading technical teams and communicating complex architectural concepts to senior stakeholders
Ability to identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimisation, with insight into market trends and innovation in telecom tooling
Nice to have
Familiarity with TM Forum standards, autonomous networks, or workflow automation platforms
Experience with service fulfilment, orchestration, process optimisation, or enterprise architecture frameworks
