Be Part of Something New - Join Our Newly Opened OSHC Service. We are excited to announce the recent opening of our new OSHC service at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School - Helensburgh, delivering high quality before and after-hours school aged care. As part of this exciting new chapter, we are seeking an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in establishing a positive, inclusive and high performing culture from day one. As the OSHC Coordinator you will share in our values and be ready to lead a dynamic, values driven program that puts the safety and quality care of children first.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, inspire and support a passionate team of educators in delivering high-quality out-of-school-hours care
  • Deliver high-quality, play-based programs that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
  • Oversee daily operations, admin, staffing, budgeting and compliance
  • Be the heart of a space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
  • Engage with families and children to create a supportive and nurturing environment
  • Oversee program development that aligns with educational standards and community needs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and positive setting

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in education and care
  • Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated leadership in a childcare or OSHC setting
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and child protection requirements
  • A child-safe mindset and a genuine commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and development
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willing to obtain)
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Driver's Licence
