Job Description

Our Off-Road Vehicle Mechanics perform work under supervision. Type of work expected: Repair and maintenance of off-road vehicles and related automotive equipment under supervision. Assists and takes direction from higher level technicians when needed. Strives to stay active, alert, and have a willingness to learn.

Job Responsibility

  • Changes oil, filters, lubricates chassis, and other general preventative maintenance repairs as well as any other required inspections
  • Mounts and dismounts tires on off-road vehicles as well as support equipment
  • Operates battery chargers, welding equipment, and machines required for performing repair and maintenance of vehicles
  • Assists higher level technicians when needed
  • Assists in cleaning and organization of the shop
  • Operates a desktop computer to complete work orders and to charge out parts as required
  • Performs related duties as assigned
  • Employee is responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions

Requirements

  • Experience in operation of various tools and equipment as required
  • Experience in maintenance and repair procedures
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Valid Driver’s license
